Reconstruction of A29 James Street, William Street, Oldtown Street, Cookstown, Co Tyrone.
This scheme involved Excavation, full Reconstruction and surfacing of approximately 6000m² of Carriageway in the busy commercial centre of Cookstown, Co Tyrone. The town centre was closed to two way traffic for a period of 6 weeks and an extensive Traffic Diversion was operated to minimise disruption to Road Users. The project was carried out over 41 working days in six phases. Extensive safety measures taken to accommodate the town centre business community market traders and local residents were most successful.
